Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to your information when you use this website.

It is short because there is not much to explain. This site sets no cookies and carries no advertising trackers. It counts page visits in a way that cannot identify you. The only information it collects about you personally is what you type into a form and send us.

Who We Are

This site is operated by Jon Robertson, The Contractor Growth Guy — business coaching, training, website design and speaking for contractors. When this policy says we or us, that is who it means.

What This Site Collects

Nothing at all, unless you fill in a form and submit it.

The forms on this site ask for your name and email address. Some also ask for a phone number and a few details about your business or your event. You choose what to put in them, and nothing is collected before you press the button.

What We Do With It

We use it to reply to you and to have the conversation you started. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing.

Who Else Handles It

Form submissions are delivered by Web3Forms, which passes the message to our email inbox. They handle it in transit and do not use it for their own purposes.

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps the standard server logs any web host keeps, including IP addresses.

Cookies And Tracking

This site sets no cookies. It runs no advertising pixels, and it does not follow you to other websites.

It does count visits. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, includes a privacy-first analytics script that records which pages are opened, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and which site linked here. It uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and builds no profile of you. Cloudflare already handles every request to this site as its host, so this adds no new company to the picture.

Because none of that stores anything on your device or identifies you, there is nothing here to accept or refuse — which is why you were never asked.

What Is Stored In Your Browser

If you complete the business assessment on the coaching page, your answers are saved in your own browser so the next page can show them back to you. They stay on your device, they are not sent anywhere, and they are cleared when you close the tab.

Video Thumbnails

Thumbnail images for Jon's YouTube videos are loaded from YouTube's image servers, so your browser requests those pictures directly from Google and Google can see your IP address.

No YouTube player is embedded anywhere on this site, and no YouTube cookies are set.

How Long We Keep It

Form submissions sit in our email inbox. We keep them for as long as they are useful to the conversation and to our records, and delete them when they are not.

Your Choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will.

Changes To This Policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
